My latest Exhibition:

In The Wilderness

- A  Desert People

This exhibition has been created over many years of my life, actually ever since I started to work as an artist in my early teens.
But the idea of it and the title got born when I worked on my graduation exhibition from my studies of art, for about ten years ago.
But it wasn´t finished, and maybe it never will…

A honeymoon to the beloved Israel brought new life to it, with many pictures, when my husband and I got married.

The life continues, and so does my and my family´s life in the desert.

Sometimes we can see in to the Promised Land, sometimes we visit it, but we always return out into the wilderness with the Lord.
As many of His people has done before us.

About me

My name is Anna-Cecilia Strandberg and I live with my husband Joakim, our son and dog in an old country house, in a small village in Bollebygd municipality, in Sweden.

I'm an artist, illustrator, decorative painter, creator and I write.

I studied to become an Art teacher at, HDK (School of Design and crafts) and loves to share and teach about art and painting through courses and workshops. I have also had multiply exhibitions for my own art.

I'm not only draw and paint,

but I have also produce some own interior design that I used to sell under the name

“Count Your Blessings”.

An idea that emerged when I was at home with our son for many years, which is imbued with that we want to live our lives in gratitude and count our blessings instead of difficulties.

Hence the name.

I have paused this right know and my webshop is also paused right know. Concentrating on other creative things and my writing.

But I also have a passion teaching from God's Word and talk about who He is and who we are in Him!

Something I have done for many years in both large and small, in homegroups, in different parishes and context.

Both myself and together with my husband Joakim who is a singer-songwriter and worshipleader.

And until november 2021 was I employeed for 30 % of my time as a church leader in our little church in the village where we live.

In addition to teaching, working with art and create I also write quite a lot.

Some you can get a taste of here, on my website or in my blogg ... and some will become teaching and preaching.

Art, music and creativity has a large space with us in our home and in our lives!

But even time in tranquility,

to replenish ourselves and listen to God.

It is important to not just go and do, but also take time to be and cherish the relationship, not only to your self, your family or friends, but most of all with God.

Family time and with our close friends are very important to us.

We enjoy being out in nature and be enchanted by all that is beautiful in the creation of God!

And it is out in the nature we often pick our inspiration.

We are also renovating our old house continuously on when we get the opportunity and time, it's an old inn from the late 1700 's.

Creativity in a different form!

I love books, movies, sewing, design, anything that has to do with color and form.

And to keep up with our son who constantly amazes me over what a wonderful person he is and becoming.

To bake, work in the garden.

Or, most of all, enjoy a good cup of cappuccino or tea with my husband Joakim who also is my very best friend and my beloved soulmate!

Original

Eller mest av allt, njuta av en god kopp cappuccino med min man Joakim som också kommit att bli min allra bästa vän!
